BROADLAND WOODTURNERS:

I am happy to say that I am a busy and proactive member of Broadland Woodturners, a small but friendly local club where you will be made most welcome, either as a visitor or a member.

Feel free to click here to see a sample of who we are and what we do:

I am proud to be in receipt of commissions from the Clifford Essex Music Copmany Ltd. to manufacture banjo hoops for them.

Each segmented hoop is constructed from about 60 individual pieces of timber in a variety of species. Each of the hoops has a tone ring and trim ring made of Ebony, and the assembly takes several days to complete.
